The Roads and Highways Department is a government department that is responsible for the construction and maintenance of highways and bridges in Bangladesh and is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Roads and Highways Department was established in 1962 after the Construction & Building organisation was broken into two, the other being Public Works Department. The department is responsible for the construction of roads, highways, and bridges and their upkeep. It also has a broader plan to replace ferry routes with bridges.

Applications invited from the actual citizens of Bangladesh for the temporary vacancies in the following vacant posts of Roads and Highways Department.

Condition to Apply

Age: Candidate’s age must be 18-30 years 04/0 01/8/2013. In case of sons and daughters of the freedom fighters / martyred freedom fighters and for physically challenged, the age limit should relaxed for 32 years.

  • According to the present government circular, the quota will followed for orphans and physically challenged, freedom fighters, women, minor ethnic groups, Ansar and Village Defense Forces and general candidates.
  • Candidates will have to submit their application through appropriate authority.
  • Any lobbying or recommendation will considered inadequate for the candidate.
  • Incomplete, defective and delayed application considered to be directly canceled.
  • Recruitment will made as per the prevailing government policy regarding the district quota.
  • No traveling allowance / daily allowance will eligible for participation in the candidate’s election examinations.
  • The authority reserves the full power to cancel the appointment notice due to the reduction of the number of posts and the inevitable growth and inevitable.
  • If the recruiters are disqualified in the medical examination, the recruitment order will canceled.

How to Apply

Appointments will mailed to the caretaker Engineer, Social, Administration and Establishment (Room No. G-017), Road Building, Tejgaon, Dhaka-1208 “in the afternoon of _/01/2019.

  • No application will accepted directly.

  • Specify the name of the position, the district and the special quota applied on the envelope.
  • At the prescribed place of the application, attach one (one) copies of the passport size photograph and attach additional 2 (two) copies of the passport size photograph to the application form.
  • One (9 – 4.5 sized) back cover with an address of 6 (six) rupees with his address must accompanied by an envelope application.
  • Incomplete, defective and delayed application is considered will directly canceled.

According to the application fee mentioned in the circular ___ taka of “Examination Fee” should deposited in Treasury Shipping with official treasury (submission code No. 1-5041-0001-2031).
