You must know that Govt. Lab or GLHS is a secondary school for boys which is located in Dhanmondi. Actually, every year they admitted new students by taking an admission test.
However, the Directorate General Secondary and Higher Education, Dhaka divided the city’s all government in three consecutive groups A, B, and C. The Govt. Laboratory High School is included in group A. They made these groups from this point of view that a student could apply not more than one school from per group. That means a student could apply in three schools. A group, all schools will be taken, their admission test at a time.

The most interesting matter is they admitted students for Class Nine (XI) after JSC Exam Result. A student will admit to Class nine (9) according to his JSC exam performance. On the other hand, Class 1 (One) students will be taken by Lottery. For Class 2 (Two) and (Six) students will be listed by taken admission tests. But for class six (VI) you have to pass from a government primary school.

Student Application Form – How to Apply
- At first, go to http://gsa.teletalk.com.bd.
- Fill up your application, according to your Birth Certificate.
- Give your FATHER/MOTHER/GUARDIAN national ID Number.
- PREFERRED QUOTA (if applicable).
- Add a Colour Photo and Photo Size Should be 300×300 Pixel and Maximum 50 KB.
- After Complete Fill up Application Form, Check Again. Then Submit Application Form.
- After submitting the application you will get a User ID and password.
- Then you have to Pay the Application Fee by Teletalk Mobile SMS
Payment Instruction
1st SMS:
GSA<space>User ID (from WEB Application) and Send it 16222
Example: GSA ABCDEF
You will receive an SMS, including the PIN Number and the next step to do. Now send 2nd SMS for confirmation.
2nd SMS:
GSA (Space) YES (Space) PIN and Send to 16222
Example: GSA YES 123456
After sent 2nd SMS you will receive a confirmation message with a Password and 170 Taka will be debited from your account. Save this User ID and password which will be needed at the time of Admit Card Download.
Admit Card Download
After the deadline of the online application, they will take a few days to publish the Admit Card. When they will publish Admit card you have to need a User ID and Password. By using User ID and Password you can down Admit Card.
- Go to http://gsa.teletalk.com.bd.
- Give your User ID and Password.
- Then Print your Admit Card in Colour.
Exam Date and Time
Every year they have admitted students by taking the exam according to their students/seat capacity. But, it is a matter of great sorrow that this year due to the Corona Pandemic and according to rules (to keep social distance) of the government they’d selected the students for the 2022-23 academic sessions with the help of the Lottery Process through Online. The Ministry of Education already confirmed that.
Subjects and Mark Distribution: The admission test will take in 3 subjects in the MCQ method for both classes. Subjects are Bangla, English, Math.
