Cumilla Zilla School is Boys School. The school, in the centre of Comilla town, established on July 20, 1837, by an Englishman named Henry George Leicester. It set up by the government of British India for teaching English literature and science and named Cumilla Zilla School. There were only 37 students. From 1857, the school starts under Kolkata University. In 1850, the school academic building expanded and more facilities created to make it a full-fledged high school. The school situated on 5.69-acre land.
