In order to apply for the appointment of the Bangladesh Judicial Service, the official judge, through the competitive examination, the candidates can be called in the prescribed form online in the prescribed form according to the following information for selection and nomination. Number of Position is 50 (fifty). Decreasing the number of posts according to the rules may increase.
If you interested and eligible, then you can apply for BJSC Exam. For this your age must have No more than 32 (thirty-seven) years on 01 March, 2018. The age criterion will fixed according to the original certificate of the secondary school certificate or equivalent examination. If the candidate is older, the application will not accepted. No affidavit will be acceptable for age determination.
Application Start: 05 April, 2018 at 10.00 am.
Application End: 25 April, 2018 at 05.00 pm.
No application will accepted after the specified date and time. It is advised to finalize the application fee and examination fee with enough time without waiting for the last date and time.
Educational Qualifications for BJS Exam
- Minimum qualification: Minimum second class graduation or second class LLM degree from law recognized university. The candidates appearing in that examination may also apply to the conditions mentioned in sub-paragraph (D).
- CGPA Assessment Procedure: If the results of any candidate published in the form of CGPA, instead of the class, the scale given by the University (Example – 4 or 5) given in the certificate given by the University will be equal to 80% in the conventional number system. Accordingly, the candidate’s results will determined as first class (60% or more), second class (45% or less but less than 60%), third class (33% or more but less than 45%). The following sources will followed in this regard:
80 ÷ (CSPPA scale (Example – 4 or 5) followed by the University) × Achieved in the number of CSPA the number obtained in the details described in paragraph 2 of the first chapter of the booklet “Information, instruction and detailed syllabus” published in the web site.
In any case, if the educational qualification is not possible according to the instructions of the book, the commission will make the final decision.
- Foreign Degree: Any Degree in Laws obtained from the Vidyamim should declared by the ‘appropriate authority’ for the minimum educational qualification (second class graduation or second class LLM degree) for the post of Assistant Judge.
- Candidate who Passed the Examination: Graduate or Bachelor of Law (Honors) or LLM Any candidate appearing in the degree examination can submit the application form. However, the test application will end at the end of the submission or earlier.

Candidate’s Physical Fitness: Candidate must be physically able to perform the responsibilities of assistant judges. For the verification and certification of whether there is any such physical impediment to obstructing such a duty, the medical board formed by the Health Department or the designated instruction and detailed syllabus given in paragraph 20 of the first chapter of the book.
Primary Nationality: Candidate must be Bangladeshi citizen or Bangladesh permanent resident of Bangladesh or Bangladesh Domiciled. But if the candidate married to a person or committed to marrying, who is not a Bangladeshi, then he consider ineligible.
Removal order / Obfuscate / Non-title certificate: Employees who are employed in government offices or local authorities (Example: statutory bodies, autonomous or semi-governmental organizations), removed. Exam Type, Date and Pass Number of BJSC Exam Preparation 2018
Primary Examination:
All applicants in the right place have to submit the preliminary examination of the 100 number MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) method. There will be a total of 100 MCQs in the examination. The value of each MCQ is 1 (one) number. However, 0.25 number for each MCQ’s wrong answer will deducted. All applicants, including beneficiary candidates of quota, will have to pass the preliminary examination as Pre-qualification for the written examination. The minimum pass number for the primary examination will be 50.
The primary examination will questioned on general Bangla, General Bangla, General English, Bangladesh and International topics, General Mathematics, Daily Science, Intelligence and Law matters. The number obtained in the preliminary examination will not added to any candidate’s written or oral examination number. Detailed information regarding this test described in Chapter 13 paragraph of the first chapter of the book “Information, Instructions and Detailed Syllabus” published on the commission’s web site.
Written Examination:
The 1200 BJS test will held in the year 2015, written test of 1000. Candidates who passed the primary examination. Only those who can participate in written exams. If you get an average of 50% marks, a candidate will considered for the written examination. If any candidate receives less than 30 marks, he will considered as failure in the written examination. Detailed information on this subject is given in paragraph 14 – 17 of the first chapter of the book “Information, Instructions and Details Syllabus” published on the Commission’s website.
Viva Examination:
Candidates who have passed written examination will have to participate in oral examination of 100. Verbal examination pass number 50 Detailed instructions for this are paragraph 19 of the booklet “Information, Instructions and Detailed Syllabus”.
Primary, written and oral examination dates and schedules will be communicated through the circular duly published in the daily newspapers, including the website of the Commission.
Only the candidates who passed the written examination will have the opportunity to be admitted in oral examination. Since the BJS test is a competitive test, the passage of minimum pass number does not guarantee the nomination by the commission.
How to Apply 12th BJS Test, 2018
Candidate should complete online registration activities and fee submission by completing the application form prescribed by the Commission through the website of Bangladesh Judicial Services Commission website www.bjsc.gov.bd. Download Admit Card: Applicant can use the User ID to print the Admission Letter from the Commission’s web site www.bjsc.gov.bd to be held at 10.00 pm on 29/04/2018.
