BMA Regular Commission Requirements

To apply for a Commissioned Officer you must be –

  • 17 -21 years old on January 01 or July 01 at the date and year of joining the military academy for training. 18-22 years for serving soldiers in Bangladesh Armed Forces.
  • A Bangladeshi citizen.
  • Not married.

Education Qualification: Having passed SSC and HSC exam with one GPA-5.0 and another at least GPA 4.5 for BMA Long Course. For candidates of English Medium – at least 03xA & 3xB grade out of 06 subject in ‘O’ level and 02xB grade out of 02 subjects in ‘A’ level OR at least 02xA; 3xB; 1xC grade out of 06 subject in ‘O’ level and 01xA & 01xB grade out of 02 subjects in ‘A’ level have to be obtained.

Male

  • Height:        1.63 meter / 5ft 4 inches
  • Weight:        50 KG (110 pounds)
  • Chest:          0.76 Meter (30 Inch) Normal, 0.81 Meter (32 Inch) Expanded

Female

  • Height:         1.60 meter / 5ft 2 inches
  • Weight:        47 KG (104 pounds)
  • Chest:          0.71 Meter (28 Inch) Normal, 0.76 Meter (30 Inch) Expanded

  • Go to the http://joinbangladesharmy.army.mil.bd/
  • Application Form (Fill-Up all personal, educational and other information).
  • Please Add Photograph of (236px x 236px). Photograph Size Must Be Less Than 100KB. Photograph Type Must Be JPG/JPEG/PNG photo.
  • After completing the application form click the “SUBMIT” button.

How to Pay Application Fee

  • After completing the application form click the “SUBMIT” button. You will get a “PAY NOW” button.
  • Now pay 1000 tk with your Visa, Master Card, American Express, Bkash, Rocket account.
  • After successful completion of your payment, you will receive an Invoice No, Username & Password
    Go to https://www.joinbangladesharmy.army.mil.bd and login at home page using your user ID and password.
  • After login, you have to Select a Preliminary Center (Board) & a Preliminary Exam Date and finally if sit available on your desired date then you will see the “Get CALLUP Letter” button to generate your CALLUP Letter. (For Long Course only).
  • After getting the “Get CALLUP Letter” button, a call-up letter will appear.
  • Take a print of your CALLUP Letter within 24 hours.
  • You may also view your personal details.

SMS to teletalk mobile

  • After successful completion of your application, you will receive an Invoice No and a Course ID
  • Go to the SMS option from any Teletalk mobile and write the following Msg.

ARMY < space > YES < space > Pin No.

Example Army 72L8186261 and Send SMS to 16222

Teletalk will send you an SMS with a Pin No for confirmation that Taka 1000/= will be charged from your mobile balance. Again go to the SMS option of your Teletalk mobile and write the following Msg.

ARMY < space > YES < space > Pin No
Example Army Yes 987654 Send SMS to 16222.

You will receive a User Name and Password in return SMS.

  • After hitting the “Get CALLUP Letter” button, a call-up letter with an interview date and place will be issued.
